27th January 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: 20/40 Surf / Sea State: Big Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Cloudy, wet and windy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Tuesday 27th January - walk ** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy, wet and windy. Storm Chandra moved across East Anglia with a day of wet and windy weather, so I was in no hurry to get out of a warm bed. Breakfast, exercises and then I had a drive round Walton and down to Felixstowe Ferry to take a few weather pics, spotted a brave kitesurfer out near rhe golf course! A bowl of soup for lunch and we walked around to our friend Mary, an umbrella was required, we had a nice chat over a cuppa and left at 4.15 with the rain gone and brightening over the docks so we walked down to the prom past Harvest house and back along the prom with a cool sky in front of us, shame I had left my camera at home, I am definatly not keen on mobile phones!
